Cheerful Givers provides toy-filled birthday gift bags to food shelves and shelters so that parents living in poverty can give their child a birthday gift.
Generally they look for items that are NEW for kids ages 3-12. Any size bags, small toys, especially items like stuffed animals, crayons, puzzles, yo yos, stickers, etc. And any wrapped candy and curling ribbon. Handmade {items} are fine, too.

Thank you Kathleen for promoting this need. Sometimes people forget that birthdays are holidays too and there are lots of kids with December and January birthdays so the need is great right now.
